    Sustainability in Catering Schools

Why GoodFood?

Food is now at the heart of the climate change debate.

It is clear that transforming food production and distribution into a more sustainable process also requires a shift in consumer choices.

The market is changing: consumers are increasingly aware of the ethical and environmental impact of their food choices, and food service companies must respond to these new expectations.

To meet this challenge, it is essential that future professionals are educated and understand the importance of their daily decisions.

By making sustainable choices and developing environmentally friendly habits, these professionals can become valuable change agents, well equipped to take initiative both at school and in their (future) workplace.

What we deliver

Our Methodology

A Good Food choice requires to think from a systems point of view. Food is not about a single issue, but about multiple issues in relation to each other.
This is why Good Food has an approach which incorporates an action plan with methods from systems thinking, action research, empowerment and impact areas. Future chefs will learn how to make change happen within their own practice, but also how to become a change maker and influence colleagues and stakeholders within their sphere of influence.
A practical approach with a good level of depth is what makes Good Food special.
