This privacy policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when using the service of the GoodFood Project website https://www.goodfoodeu.eu/ (hereinafter referred to as GoodFood website). It explains what personal data (information) we hold about you, how we collect it, and how we use and may share information about you. We are required to notify you of this information under the EU GDPR regulations and other data protection legislation. Please ensure that you read this privacy policy.

Who we are

Partners / partnership: In the following text, “partner” / “partnership” designate partner institutions / organisations participating in GoodFoof and likely to collect data within the framework of the project, namely agado, GAP Netherlands, GAP Spain, InEuropa, Bsz Ansbach triesdorf, Koning Willem I Collgege, Leioa Catering School, and Fondazione Castello di Padernello. GoodFood project partners carefully treat all data collected as confidential and strictly use it under the framework of the GoodFood project activities in compliance with the EU GDPR Regulations and the Erasmus Programme rules.

Collection of your personal data

Personal data may be collected when registering to the GoodFood platform, when filling feedback questionnaires and surveys of any kind, when registering for events, when subscribing to newsletter. When personal data is collected, the purpose will be clearly expressed.

Project partners collect data to perform their legal obligations as an EU co-funded project. No personal information is collected without your knowledge. Although you can browse through most of this website without giving any information about yourself, in some cases, personal information is required in order to provide specific services. In that case, such information is treated according to the policy described in the Regulation above and information about the use of your data is provided in the privacy policy statements. The scope of the data collected is the minimum necessary for each purpose, avoiding as much as possible personal information. However, no personal information is collected without the knowledge and consent of the target audience.

Use of your personal data

GoodFood partners may use personal data for the following purposes:

to provide and maintain the GoodFood website, including to monitor the usage of it;
to manage your account: the personal data can give you access to different functionalities of the GoodFood website that are available to you as a registered user;
to contact you by email for more information about the program;
to attend and manage your requests to us;
to provide you with important information, inform you of events, or update you about our services;
for data analysis, identifying trends, and to evaluate and improve our program and your experience.

Retention of your personal data

The data collected within the framework of the GoodFood project will be retained by the project partners and the Erasmus Programme to comply with the regulatory obligations. Once the retention period has passed, the GoodFood project partners, potential sub-contractors / external providers and the Erasmus Programme will take adequate measures to delete all personal data collected within the project.

With whom do we share your data

The GoodFood project may use external providers to process your personal data. You will be informed and your express consent required whenever this is the case. The GoodFood project partners make sure to demand their external providers to provide them with adequate safeguards regarding personal data protection. External providers of GoodFood project will have a limited access to personal data strictly necessary for the completion of the services rendered. They will also be contractually bound to use the personal data in compliance with the current regulation regarding personal data.

The GoodFood website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by the partnership. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Your Rights

According to the GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “Every person may, on simple request addressed to the DPO of GoodFood, have free access to all the information concerning them in clear language (any codes must be explained). Every person may directly require from an organisation holding information about them the data to be corrected (if they are wrong), completed or clarified (if they are incomplete or equivocal), or erased (if this information could not legally be collected). Anyone may oppose that information about them is used for advertising purposes or for commercial purposes. They may also oppose to information concerning them being disclosed to a third party for such purposes. The persons concerned should have the possibility of exercising their right to oppose the disclosure of their data to a third party at the moment the data is collected. The use of automatic calling machines or faxes for advertising purposes is prohibited unless the person has given their prior consent.”

You may ask us to correct or remove any information that you think is no longer up to date. Please contact us at info@agado.org if you would like any corrections made to your information. In addition, you may request in writing using the contact details above, that identifiable photos of you be removed from public viewing and/or use.
